Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates in Hazelwood, Missouri. This role involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting while adhering to performance measurement guidelines.
Responsibilities- Perform warehouse functions, loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Operate forklift and maintain safe operations.
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
- Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Team player capable of working within a diverse environment.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
- Punctual with good attendance record.
- Initiative and independent work under minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy, even under pressure.
- Capability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Adherence to health and safety methods.
- Flexible with shifts and schedule.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
