Materials Coordinator/Cycle Counter

Owensville, MO | $16-$18 per hour | Full-Time, Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed)

At Jahabow, we design and build commercial-grade display cases and fixtures for some of the nation's largest retailers, including Sam's Club, Academy, Kohl's, and Walmart. As a Materials Coordinator/Cycle Counter, you'll play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, and ensuring materials are available when and where they're needed.

What You'll Do
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Monitor and maintain Kanban inventory systems to support material replenishment
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/inventory management system
  • Generate and review inventory reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to optimize material flow and storage practices
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, moving, and replenishing materials as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and warehouse processes
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or material management
  • Understanding of Kanban systems and inventory replenishment processes
  • Experience using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and solve problems effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Forklift experience required
Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required)
  • Additional education or training in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management
  • ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Advanced Excel or inventory reporting experience

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift

Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Required PPE may include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.
