Job Details- Pay rate: $24.00 - $25.00
- Schedule: 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm + OT as needed (Mon - Fri)
- Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience operating a stand‑up reach truck in the last 3 years
- Unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking, ensure product stability with tape or stretch‑wrap, respecting one item per pallet unless instructed otherwise.
- Count all product before storage, compare to driver’s manifest, check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates; report shortages, damages and misplacements to supervisor.
- Identify and recover received or shipping damage; report shortages and overages to area supervisor.
- Assist in physical inventories using scanners; ensure proper stock rotation by lot number.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and lot number; meet customer service standards; pallets may reach up to 7 feet.
- Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into railcars or trailers.
- Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using forklift, clamp truck, slip‑sheet or other power equipment; maintain facilities, equipment and materials in a neat, clean orderly fashion; perform daily inspections and verify equipment operation before start of day.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience: Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training; at least 1 year in warehouse operations
- Other Abilities:
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance occasionally
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- Speak and hear for safety and productivity
- Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
- Lift overhead
- Work overtime as required due to demand
- Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
- Have acceptable and/or correctable vision
- Work in an atmosphere range of +34 to
-10 °F with moderate noise level - Personal interaction and communication is high
- Good arithmetic and reading skills
- Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction, and company policies
- A self‑starter capable of working independently and coordinating with others
- Ability to manage stress and maintain productivity in fast‑pace environment
- Maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications
- Participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required
- Initiate action to prevent occurrence of any non‑conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems
- Identify and record any issues related to product, processes and/or quality; recommend solutions through appropriate channels
- Verify implementation of solutions
- Always follow posted security and safety procedures
- Participate in safety and educational training
