Position Description
Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our Facility at Ryder in Hazelwood, MO.
We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay $18.25 per hour.

Ability to learn Electric Pallet Jack and related equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred.
- Powered industrial truck certification.
- Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks (stand‑up, sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to operate manual or automated warehouse equipment, such as a packaging line.
- Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and understand safety instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Data entry skills using a WMS computer system.
- Capacity to work overtime as assigned.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills at all organizational levels.
- Team player and independent worker.
- Adaptability and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent time management, organization, and follow‑up.
- Detail oriented.
Some positions require additional screening (employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer background requirements).
Responsibilities- Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
- Ensure accurate scanning and resolve scanning issues; train dock employees on new procedures.
- Secure facility at end of shift; investigate and resolve issues; perform housekeeping.
- Execute picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.
- Follow location policies and procedures, including material handling logistics.
- Perform material moves, including associated physical/logical transactions.
- Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations and related business functions.
- Carry out housekeeping duties in assigned area.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
