Our client, a growing nonprofit construction organization with a government‑funded community development component, is seeking a hands‑on Construction Project Manager to lead impactful residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do- Lead multiple ground‑up construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and implement disciplined project management systems and processes to support a growing self‑perform construction operation.
- Coordinate field activities while leading project teams, subcontractors, and vendors with a collaborative, hands‑on leadership style.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Partner with leadership, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to successfully execute a wide range of community development initiatives.
- Single‑family residential homes
- Multifamily housing developments
- Residential neighborhood and master‑planned community developments
- Community centers, parks, playgrounds, walking trails, gathering spaces, and mini‑amphitheaters
- Commercial buildings and mixed‑use projects
- Warehouses and industrial facilities
- A new warehouse/manufacturing plant supporting prefabricated (prefab) construction, including steel and concrete building components
- Site development, infrastructure, and utility improvements that support long‑term community growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Community Development, Housing Development, or a related field
- 3–7+ years of experience managing residential and commercial construction projects
- Experience overseeing ground‑up construction from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, and residential building practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with panelized, modular, or prefabricated building systems
- Background working on government‑funded housing, affordable housing, rural development, public infrastructure, or community development projects
- Experience with steel, concrete, and site development projects
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for building projects that create lasting community impact
