Design Engineer Co-op
Objective of Position:
The Design Engineer Co-op will support the Engineering staff in all aspects of the engineering systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.
- Prepares Bills of Material.
- Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and/or cost.
- Designs new parts/assemblies/systems as directed by experienced designers.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education/
Experience:
- Must be enrolled in a two (2) or four (4) year degree program with a drafting, design, or engineering focus.
Position
Qualifications:
- Must have a basic knowledge of CAD systems with an emphasis on Solid Works software.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
