Job Overview
At Bank of America, the Life Services team guides beneficiaries through informed financial decisions when inheriting assets. Financial Solutions Advisors (FSAs) engage clients daily via phone to provide service and advice, identify broader product solutions, and build financial plans.
Responsibilities- Build financial plans and recommend brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking solutions).
- Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Provide end-to-end client experience, managing finances of an assigned group of clients, enhancing client care, retention, and deepening client management of issues.
- Align Bank of America and Merrill offering models; collaborate with business partners when appropriate.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
- Communicate clear expectations when establishing new relationships to create a smooth and streamlined experience.
- Series7 and
66 licenses (or equivalent) required. - Minimum 1–2 years of financial advisory or investment experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Passion for excellence, strong communication and confidence, ability to conduct meaningful consultative conversations to uncover client needs.
- Expert knowledge of internal and regulatory policies, procedures, and processes.
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related discipline (preferred) or 1–2 years of relevant work experience.

Location:

$65,000 – $85,000 annualized salary, eligibility for a formulaic incentive plan (monthly, quarterly, and/or annual). Specific incentives based on performance metrics.
