Speech Language Pathology Assistant | SLPA

Role Overview :

Assists a Speech/Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language therapy services, supporting patient development in communication, oral-motor control, vocalization, and assistive technology use.

• Provides direct patient care for speech, language, voice, fluency, and hearing concerns.
• Documents patient progress and adjusts therapy plans based on individual needs.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Supports program development and participates in professional growth activities.
• Performs receptionist and clerical duties, including greeting patients, scheduling, and managing documentation and supplies.

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the practicing state.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse age groups from infants to adults.
• Ability to perform duties with visual and auditory acuity.
• Commitment to teamwork, confidentiality, and safety standards.
