Position: MQ-9 Simulator Console Operator

Job Summary

Support military training operations by executing and managing advanced simulator missions that replicate real-world operational environments. Configure and control simulation scenarios, provide tactical inputs, monitor mission execution, troubleshoot system issues, and support training exercises that enhance operational readiness, decision-making, and mission effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Execute and control simulator missions that replicate real-world operational scenarios.
  • Configure, load, and modify simulation training scenarios based on mission objectives.
  • Deliver real-time tactical inputs to challenge personnel and support training goals.
  • Monitor simulator operations to ensure realism, safety, and training effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot simulator, network, and mission operation system issues.
  • Program and execute mission profiles using simulation and mission-planning tools.
  • Simulate command and control operations, adversary forces, and external agencies.
  • Coordinate voice, chat, and communication-based mission events.
  • Link multiple simulators to support large-scale and multi-unit training exercises.
  • Provide mission data and performance feedback during post-mission debriefs.
  • Support evaluations, testing events, investigations, and special demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with instructors, engineers, and operational personnel to improve training effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of experience in military aviation, simulator operations, or related operational roles.
  • Experience creating and executing simulation training scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of operational and training environments.
  • Experience with mission planning and simulation systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience supporting large-scale training exercises preferred.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, mission-focused environments.
  • Active security clearance may be required.
