Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Role
When we release new software, a lot has to come together t's where you come in.
As our Release Coordinator, you'll make sure our software updates go out smoothly and on schedule. You'll plan each release, track its progress, help confirm it's been properly checked for problems, and keep everyone in the loop — across our billing, payments, and usage‑tracking teams.
We're looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and good at helping teams work well together — the person everyone turns to for a clear read on how ready a release is.
- Maintain the release calendar and coordinate timing across teams.
- Run planning meetings and track what's included in each release.
- Lead the final go‑ahead meetings before launch.
- Make sure release notes are accurate and complete.
- Be the main point of contact on release status.
- Plan and schedule testing to catch problems before customers do.
- Work with development teams to keep testing on track.
- Coordinate bug review meetings and make sure serious ones get fixed before release.
- Communicate testing progress and quality clearly.
- Spot problems or scheduling conflicts early.
- Flag anything that could affect quality or timing, and coordinate a fix.
- Document key decisions and exceptions.
- Maintain simple reports/dashboards on release status.
- Track trends in release and quality metrics.
- Help improve the release and testing process over time.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A knack for juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Sharp attention to detail and a problem-solver's mindset.
- 3+ years in software testing, project coordination, or release management.
- Experience with Agile development teams.
- Hands-on experience coordinating releases or testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure Dev Ops.
- General understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large business software products.
Don't check every box? That's okay — if the essentials sound like you, we'd still love to hear from you.
How You'll Know You're Succeeding- Releases become more predictable and better organized.
- Testing is consistently done before releases go out.
- The team has clear visibility into readiness and risk.
- Delays from miscommunication or missed details drop.
- Development, testing, ops, and support work better together.
- Competitive pay
- Generous paid time off + 10 paid holidays
- 401(k) with company match
- Company-paid employee health, dental, vision, and life insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield)
- HSA contributions from the company
- Company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance
