We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder at our Mitchell, SD location to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a dedication to quality and safety.

• Fabricate and construct metal components using gas torches and welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans using an iPad.
• Maintain required tolerances and high-quality finishes.
• Lift, move, and position materials using tables, jigs, clamps, and fixtures.
• Move work pieces, tools, and supplies manually or with overhead cranes.
• Secure parts for welding using bolts, clamps, and tack welds.
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Grind, finish, and prepare completed products.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or flaws.
• Repair or replace damaged components by removing and installing new parts as needed.

• Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Must be able to safely operate tools and equipment.
