Job Description
Robot operator will be responsible for ensuring robot is operating efficiently and effectively, create and or edit programs to meet customer and company goals.
Responsibilities
- Ability to weld proficiently.
- Edit and or create robotic programs.
- Diagnose and repair minor faults.
- Setup of robotic and assembly fixtures.
- Monitor assembly quality by a detailed inspection process.
- Maintain safety standards and safe work environment.
- Follow standard work and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety standards set by the company.
- Help identify waste in process or procedures to increase efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
Associate's degree or technical certificate preferred. Must be a proficient welder and experience in robotic technology is preferred. Must possess ability to read detailed drawings. Must understand fabrication processes and have strong computer skills related to creating/editing robotic programs. Good math skills, and verbal and written communication skills necessary. Flexible, independent and self-motivated individual, who is willing to travel.

Physical demands:
While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand; walk; sit; climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
At times, must use ladders to work at heights of up to 12 feet.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
