WELDER SUPERVISOR - SUPERVISOR DE SOLDADURA

Supervise the Weld department, oversee the employees and ensure that production runs safely and efficiently.

• Has two to seven years of welding experience. Prior experience in a Supervisor position is preferred.
• Must be available and able to work multiple shifts.

• Has the ability to multitask with duties needed to meet production goals.

• Ensures that established company policies and procedures are followed.
• Makes operational decisions on how best to safely and productively run the department.
• Schedules production on a daily basis to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner and readjusts the production schedule when expedites are needed.
• Meets with Leads daily to discuss the current needs of the department and meets with other employees as needed.
• Communicates with the Expedite Planner to discuss priority coolers that need to be produced each day.
• Communicates with the Supervisor for the CAB and Prep departments to determine when cores will be transported from the Prep department to the Weld department.
• Receives daily production reports from each employee, reviews work orders to ensure they are appropriately completed, and provides the reports to the Data Entry Assistant in the manufacturing office.
