Position OverviewA long‑term care facility in Mitchell, SD is seeking a dependable and compassionate Travel LPN for an 8‑week NOC‑shift contract beginning 2/16. This role is ideal for an LPN who thrives in a steady overnight routine and enjoys providing high‑quality care to geriatric residents.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to LTC residents
- Perform assessments and follow individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols
- Document resident status and interventions accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility standards
- Active LPN license (SD or compact)
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTC experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently during NOC shifts
