2026 Seasonal Grounds Maintenance II (Equipment Operators)
Work late spring through the summer keeping parks and lake access areas mowed and equipment in good working operational condition. Duties include mowing of the parks and lake access areas in a timely matter. Doing small repairs to the lawn mowers including (but not limited to) sharpening blades, greasing, changing tires, cleaning air filters and radiators, cleaning out grass clippings, and checking belts.
Generally Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (typically 7am - 3:30 PM) with some weekend possibly.
Must be age 18 or older with a valid SD Driver's license. Applications available at the Rec Center 1300 N Main or Human Resource Office 612 N Main, and online application available on this site. Early applications appreciated.
Wage begins at $14.11 per hour, rate depending on experience.
