Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Duties & Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate
- Maintain inventory by utilizing mobile scanners & computer ERP database
- Ability to make accurate stock moves/transfers in company ERP database
- Print bar codes using scanners and other equipment as needed
- Performs receiving & shipping functions by following established procedures
- Complete all receiving & shipping paperwork accurately
- Perform material handler duties as needed; retrieve & deliver materials to production line; pull cabinets for production line, remove items from production lines
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Check product orders
- Check incoming materials for freight damage; initiate freight claims process if necessary
- Organize and stock materials in receiving warehouse once bar‑coded
- Remove finished heat pumps from end of production line and put in racks in finished goods warehouse
- Prepare and assemble shipments; packages, labels, and stages materials following established procedures including international shipments and orders
- Perform quotes and schedule shipments for freight carriers
- Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier
