Civil Engineer – Land Development

Overview

Atwell, LLC, a leader in consulting, engineering, and construction services, is seeking a Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects.

• Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
• Analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions, considering legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, cost opinions, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention calculations, storm sewer reports, permit applications, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, Storm
  
  CAD and Water
  
  CAD reports, and preliminary grading.
• Support construction activities such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals; organize site plans, construction plans, and documents under senior staff guidance.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages efficiently, ensuring alignment with established standards.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members to coordinate projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water

  CAD, and Sewer
  
  CAD preferred.

• Salary range: $75,000 – $126,000 USD.
