Responsibilities of this position include working with the instructional deans in program administration and evaluation, creating course schedules, assisting with faculty and student issues, preparing program reviews, and participating in special projects. This is a full-time, FLSA exempt position covered by the Public School Retirement System of Missouri (PSRS) and is based on the Moberly campus.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred. The Director must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with others.
Experience with higher education technologies and student information systems is preferred, along with proficiency in technology tools commonly used in academic and administrative settings. Excellent written communication, organizational, and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
Job Responsibilities
The Director of Instructionshall:
1. Supervise coordinator of instructional operations and CTE coordinators;
2. Provide leadership for the planning, development, and publication of the course schedule;
3. Provide leadership for the recruitment and selection of adjunct faculty;
4. Oversee the review and processing of faculty credential documentation, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements;
5. Coordinate the adjunct faculty evaluation process;
6. Oversee syllabus management, including ensuring compliance with required components and managing storage of syllabus templates;
7. Oversee curriculum management system, including managing curriculum change processes and compliance with required components;
8. Assist with evaluation activities, including program review and assessment of student learning;
9. Serve as an ombudsperson to help students, faculty, and staff to address academic-related questions, problems, and conflicts.
10. Oversee relevant reporting to state and federal agencies;
11. Participate in accreditation activities from the Higher Learning Commission, the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships, and specialized accrediting bodies;
12. Develop and manage academic partnerships;
13. Serve on college committees as appropriate;
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Instruction or deans.
