As our Director of Nursing (RN), you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our nursing department, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluations. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, conducting quality assessments, and developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Director of Nursing (RN) will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to deliver high-quality care
- Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care services
- Conduct quality assessments and develop plans to improve care outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal regulations
- Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring effective resource allocation
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri required; additional certifications in healthcare management or leadership preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Excellent personnel management skills including staff supervision, team management, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal regulations
- Extensive knowledge of state-specific education laws relevant to nursing practice and healthcare regulations.
