Senior Accountant

A growing industrial services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers significant visibility to executive leadership and provides a clear path toward future accounting leadership opportunities. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and eager to take ownership of accounting processes while helping drive continuous improvement across the organization.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet and income statement activity
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Assist with process improvements and internal controls initiatives
• Collaborate with operational leaders to support financial decision-making
• Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated career stability and commitment
• Manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, or project-based accounting experience preferred
• CPA designation is a plus
