Accounting Manager (Mobile, AL)

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing finance team. This individual will play a key role in managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting operations, driving process improvements, and support the development of the accounting staff.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and board-level financial packages.
• Serve as primarily liaison for external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and implementation of new systems.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience highly preferred.
• CPA preferred
• Advanced excel and financial reporting tools skills
