Accountant - Sales Tax

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Tax or CPA designation preferred)
• Experience with multi-state sales and use tax compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and tax software (e.g., Vertex, Alteryx) is a plus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• CPA or CMI designation (or actively pursuing)
• Industry experience in food service, vending, or support services
• Familiarity with tax registration, renewal, and permit management
• Experience with reconciliation processes for tax-related accounts

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field
• Prior experience in sales and use tax compliance across multiple states
• Exposure to tax-specific software and financial reconciliation tools
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in a corporate setting

• On-site or hybrid work environment (specific arrangement to be discussed)
• Ability to handle large volumes of data and supporting documentation
• Willingness to stay current with tax law changes and compliance requirements
• No travel required unless specified by management
