Position: RENTAL COORDINATOR

G.A. West's sister company, Legacy Cranes and Equipment in Creola, Alabama is seeking a Rental Coordinator. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity.

Primary Focus:
Equipment rentals, job setup, daily logistics, and support for sales and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Rental Equipment Management

  • Monitor rental requests from G.A. West to determine internal vs. external sourcing.
  • Provide equipment rates/quotes to GAW Purchasing for PO issuance.
  • Verify rental invoices: rates, billing periods, job numbers, PO#s.
  • Enter hours on operated jobs for timely billing.

Job Setup & Coordination

  • Set up jobs in Nex Gen.
  • Issue PO#s for 3rd party rentals and update Nex Gen accordingly.
  • Asset management:
    • Machine type
    • Status (ready, maintenance, repair)
  • Respond to requisitions:
    • Verify equipment availability
    • Ensure equipment is clean, serviced, and rent-ready
  • Documentation & Tracking
    • Track records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements.
    • Maintain on-rent/off-rent procedures and documentation.
    • Track incoming/outgoing hours for billable overtime.
  • Cross-Functional Support
    • Crosstrain with other departments to assist as needed.
