Position Overview

Piecework Detail Shop Position(s) Available. Are you a team player focused on providing exemplary customer service and performing well in a fast‑paced work environment?

Detail Specialist 1 – Some experience.

Detail Specialist 2 – 2+ years experience.

Maintain the facilities of the store to produce high quality service. Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to all customer inquiries and/or complaints establishing conclusions in a timely manner. Driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles.

The detailer uses manual dexterity and bodily coordination to wash vehicle exteriors with various cleaning solutions; may wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines, vacuum interiors to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals. May also use dyes, paints and waxes to protect leather or fabric, clean and remove grease on engines or engine compartments.

Flexibility and willingness to carry out additional duties as assigned by management due to operational needs.

• Physically demanding: frequent movement, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting.
• Work outdoors and under varying climate conditions.
• Move numerous vehicles during the shift.
• Use of safe and OSHA‑approved waxes and cleaners such as window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine.
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists and fingers.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Constant oral communication required.
• Clear vision and hearing necessary.
• Attention to detail to identify small imperfections.
• Ability to quality inspect own work and that of others.
• Sense of urgency to meet customer time expectations.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

Piecework.

• 1 or more years of detailing experience.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Desire to treat each customer’s personal vehicle with care and respect.
• Reliability: on-time arrival and staying on task.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as required.
• Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift.
