Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Advisor role based in Mobile, AL. The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for service guests, greeting them, understanding their needs, and clearly explaining recommended maintenance and repair work. Responsibilities include creating and updating repair orders, coordinating with technicians, monitoring repair progress, and keeping guests informed on status, costs, and timing. The role also involves reviewing vehicle inspections, advising on maintenance schedules, and ensuring all work aligns with brand and safety standards.

The Service Advisor will manage check-in and check-out processes, handle payment explanations, resolve concerns, and support a high standard of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest satisfaction in the service drive.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer orientation, including Customer Satisfaction, Customer-focused Service, and Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills to clearly explain technical information, manage expectations, and maintain professional guest interactions.
  • Understanding of Aftersales processes, including repair order management, service scheduling, and coordination with parts and technician teams.
  • Previous experience in an automotive service advisor, service writer, or related customer-facing role preferred.
  • Basic automotive knowledge and comfort discussing maintenance and repair recommendations with guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site dealership environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems and standard office software is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or customer service training is beneficial.
