The Site Supervisor position will support all aspects of the day‑to‑day plant & terminal operations, including customer and business interfaces, safety and environmental compliance, maintenance budgeting, and employee training. Skills and Abilities
- Management of the site’s Basic Safety Process and Process Safety Management with a focus on the company’s efforts to drive a goal of 0 safety incidents.
- Ensuring Environmental compliance in accordance with Air Products Corporate and Governmental Regulations.
- Understanding safe operating, design, and permit limits.
- Supporting all aspects of day‑to‑day operations, including troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and managing plant projects.
- Identifying maintenance concerns; then developing and implementing corrective measures with the maintenance team as well as carrying out site preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
- Interfacing with the source ethanol plant, customers, and the Air Products commercial team.
- Implementing and sharing best practices.
- Investigating incidents and near misses, including understanding and correcting the root cause of failures.
- Supporting all aspects of the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance activity for drivers including DOT driver logs, driver safety meetings, driver observations, and coordination of fleet maintenance activities.
- Supporting all aspects of day‑to‑day operations to include troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and managing plant projects.
- Identify and develop talent while promoting teamwork.
- Drive the site towards operational excellence.
- Display clear communication with employees.
- Demonstrate effective management of workload and respectful communication with the support teams.

- Ability to understand the larger picture and consider the implications of decisions.
- Providing vacation relief for process operator and assuring plant coverage when issues arise (Position will require on‑call responsibilities and weekend coverage every other week).
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 5+ years of relevant operations and maintenance experience in an industrial plant is required.
- A degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred but is not required.
- Military experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- A self‑starter with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop talent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative and computer skills.
- Availability to be on call.
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
