RME Planner - JLL

Key Responsibilities

The RME Planner will be a member of the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering team and will work with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team and the Reliability Manager to maximize material handling equipment uptime for Operations associates. This position is responsible for developing maintenance plans and schedules based on recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data, and KPIs. The role will work closely with Maintenance management, Maintenance Technicians, Control Systems Technicians and Operations teams to plan, coordinate and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows.

Day-to-Day

Activities
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Measure and publish facility PI metrics; interpret data, troubleshoot process, and make recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain equipment metadata (manufacturer, model, serial number, system structure) in EAM; label/barcode equipment.
  • Develop and maintain work order data; set up users, employees, shifts, crews, and supervisors.
  • Add equipment to preventive maintenance plans, schedules, and work packages.
  • Define scheduled due dates or initial meter points for system-generated work orders.
  • Develop and maintain plant-specific preventive maintenance plans, schedules, routes, and work packages.
  • Support management in reviewing and ensuring accuracy of work order data such as equipment, booked hours, parts usage, work order type, closing codes, and comments.
  • Scheduling and assigning work; manage work orders in the system to ensure proper creation, planning, update, and closure.
  • Maintain spare parts metadata; collect and input supplier, catalog number, quantity, pricing, manufacturer, part numbers.
  • Drive materials management process in the facilities store; create and generate requisitions, purchase orders, and PO receipts.
  • Develop and maintain the 5S of the store.
  • Develop and maintain lists of critical spares with the facilities team.
  • Audit materials management process with cycle counts.
  • Provide data to implement corrective actions discovered in cycle counts, KPIs or other EAM data.
  • Work with facilities team to reduce costs and improve parts quality.
  • Collaborate with corporate EAM Business Analysts to roll out new functionality, standard object coding scheme, preventive maintenance procedures, scheduling, and reports.
  • Provide software training to end users and new EAM administrators; serve as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
  • Coach and educate staff on EAM functions and best practices; serve as Tier 1 EAM support for the facilities team.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities.
  • 1 year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Travel up to 15% required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise software and understanding of standard work processes.
  • Project management experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working with enterprise asset management software suites;
    Infor EAM ASE highly desired.
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience in facilities maintenance program, particularly in asset management and spare part optimization.
Physical Demands
  • Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Lifting parts and tools averaging 20 pounds, occasionally up to 49 pounds.
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
