Duties
* Provide technical guidance, advice, and professional mentoring to junior project managers to build organizational capacity.
* Review, challenge, and formally endorse all technical products and deliverables to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
* Review and formally approve or reject modifications to project costs, timelines, and technical scopes within designated authority.
* Analyze historical performance trends to predict and resolve potential resource, scheduling, or staffing shortages before they disrupt operations.
* Contribute to leadership decisions regarding short- and long-range courses of action and organizational operating budgets.
* Lead negotiations and draft formal written agreements between the service provider and external clients. Requirements Conditions of employment

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Coordinating the execution of IT projects by defining technical scope, developing schedules, and drafting comprehensive management plans; AND
2) Tracking project funds, analyzing financial reports to resolve discrepancies, and forecasting resource or manpower requirements; AND
3) Serving as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional teams to integrate requirements and deliver project status briefings; AND
4) Using enterprise project management software to track milestones, monitor performance, and manage project risks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). 1. Attention to Detail
