this position supports department of subways, facilities division. The incumbent assists in the planning, development, implementation, execution, and oversight of the facilities department projects, and reporting progress to the project manager, director, asst. Vice president, and/or sr. Vice president of the facilities department. The position will also track goals of the construction operation and provide detailed reports to upper management. The selected candidate will be responsible for administrative activities including, but not limited to, maintaining databases, extracting/processing/analyzing data, the set up and preparation of meetings and correspondences, preparing and tracking bulletins, disseminating information, questions, and directives;
supervising junior analyst staff; facilitating and coordinating communication and interaction among the senior staff; pursuing follow-ups of pending items with senior staff, and briefing the management accordingly. Additional duties include answering customer complaints, compiling responses for executive correspondence, drafting memos, updating and analyzing data using various applications from the microsoft 365 suite, perform field visits, and other ad hoc duties as required.
and experience
associate transit management analyst:
or general administration; or
- strong analytical and quantitative skills
- excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization
- project management
- ability to work and deliver under demanding timelines
- proficiency in ms excel, access, power point, sharepoint, visio and other data visualization tools (microsoft power bi/tableau)
- experience tracking assignments, deliverables, and due dates
- ability to assist with reporting, status updates, and dashboard inputs
- basic knowledge and understanding of transportation, maintenance, or construction terminology
based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, interview, and written assessment.
