Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor to oversee commercial construction projects throughout all construction phases. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.

• Manage commercial construction projects through all phases of construction
• Coordinate with subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Conduct jobsite meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Identify risks and proactively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists and final documentation

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with a General Contractor
• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
• Experience with scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
