RoleAssociate Photographer – Mobile, Alabama
Associate Photographers are responsible for collecting media for and Equipped with a top‑line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment, and an iPad, they create virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential homes. Each photographer has a core territory and attends scheduled appointments to scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro‑3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. They also perform residential photography for marketing purposes, creating a portfolio of photographs that showcase homes and apartments.

- Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques.
- Work with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
- Communicate professionally with clients, sales associates, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
- While not working on a residential property, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to photograph.
- Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
- Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to eight hours per day, lifting, carrying, and maneuvering equipment weighing up to five pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying. Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule.
Qualifications- At least two years of professional experience and a track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Real estate photography experience required; experience as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a client‑first mindset.
- Experience as a drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification, to be obtained within 30 days of offer.
- Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products.
- Enjoy working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Field experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Base hourly compensation: $49,000–$50,000.
