Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality communication and customer service to ensure a positive experience
  • Dispatch maintenance or repair information as needed
  • Perform clerical duties involving the use of computer and telephone equipment
  • Assist in the examination process for applicants to qualify for the position
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a standard senior high school or completion of the GED test
  • Minimum of one year's experience in customer service performing clerical duties
  • Must have a valid Mobile Civil Service Keyboarding Proficiency Test score of 32 net words per minute or higher
  • Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work
  • Accuracy and truthfulness in applications is essential for Civil Service System employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a customer service role involving dispatching or similar duties
  • Familiarity with government employment processes and regulations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer inquiries effectively
  • Proficient in using computer and telephone systems for clerical tasks
