What You'll Be Doing
Job Summary:
Generally responsible for design and preparation of building plans. This work will be performed under general supervision.
- Present project design to Leaders for review and make recommendations to meet their needs.
- Participate in final inspection of improvement projects and recommend acceptance of construction work.
- Review building plans and site designs for aesthetics, environmental acceptability, compliance with codes and standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Prepare reports and correspondence.
- Research, plan, design and supervise construction of building projects for clients according to their needs and financial resources, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, and building materials.
- Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.

Ideal Background EducationBachelor or Master of Science degree in Architecture from an accredited university is required.
RegistrationRegistered Architect.
ExperienceThis position requires 10 or more years of architectural experience.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods.
