The Department of Pharmacology at the University of South Alabama Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor, Research non‑tenure track position. The faculty will conduct independent research into mechanisms of alternative splicing and RNA modifications, publish peer‑review papers, apply for extramural funding from the NIH and other agencies, and oversee the Nanopore sequencing resource in the department.
Competitive applicants must have a Ph D, postdoctoral experience, and demonstrated aptitude in competing for extramural grant support.
