Position Overview: A rewarding opportunity awaits at Calera Elementary in Alabaster, AL! We need a full-time Special Education Teacher to start ASAP and support our students through May 23, 2025. The role involves working in an inclusion classroom with students who have moderate behavioral needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute IEPs tailored to each student's needs.
• Partner with general education teachers to provide inclusive education.
• Modify lessons and materials to accommodate students' learning styles.
• Track and report student progress regularly.
• Cultivate a supportive and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

• Current Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Prior experience in managing moderate behavioral needs is a plus.
• Proficiency in IEP development and data-driven teaching.
