Position Type:

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa for students in classroom settings, educational activities, and school events.
• Facilitate munication between students, teachers, and peers to ensure access to educational content and participation in school activities.
• Adapt interpreting techniques and strategies to meet the individual munication needs of students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success and inclusivity in the school munity.

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification).
• Experience working with students in educational settings preferred.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of deaf culture.
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
