  • Nurtures relationships with sister 4‑year colleges/universities to encourage students’ persistence and completion (including transfer).
  • Tracks and monitors statistical results on retention, graduation and achievement of students’ personal and academic goals.
  • In addition to navigating multiple databases (immigration and student information systems), the incumbent will work with students and others coming in‑person to our offices; and if credentialed will teach SLS 1101 (1 credit), a course specifically designed for international (F‑1 visa) students.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of prior‑related work experience.
  • At least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.

  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting statistical results on retention, graduation, and student learning.
  • Working collaboratively with faculty and academic and student service departments.
  • Understanding immigration regulations and changes in government policy as they concern F‑1 international students.
  • A master’s degree, foreign language proficiency, and experience living in another country are added pluses.
