Academic Records Supervisor – 007728
College of Engineering, University of South Alabama.
Location:
Main Campus. Working days:
Monday - Friday.
Working hours:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Full Time, Regular.
High school diploma or equivalent and five years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities- Supervise academic records staff, including departmental secretaries.
- Ensure staff performs duties required for maintenance of student academic records and transcripts.
- Supervise all changes to the master student file and active transcript file.
- Supervise verifying, correcting and filing of quarterly reports.
- Advise students on academic requirements, counseling on academic standing and GPA.
- Collaborate with Computer Center to establish new or revised programs for maintaining academic records.
- Work with Deans on admission of new and transfer students, clearing students for graduation.
- Act as receptionist for the office of the Dean and provide secretarial support to assistant and associate deans.
- Process Curriculum Action Forms.
- Create and maintain the Degree Audit module for the college.
- Advise academic departments regarding the Banner database.
- Advise students and staff on appropriate usage of PAWS.
- Answer questions about university and college policies and procedures.
- Route, track and file graduate student applications.
- Advise Dean and Registrar of changes to graduation candidate list each semester.
- Coordinate student evaluations of faculty and prepare summaries.
- Coordinate course and classroom scheduling through Banner and EMS, textbook orders and updates of college bulletins.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
- Work the schedule as defined and provide overtime as required.
- Perform related duties as required.
