The University of South Alabama (USA) invites applications for the position of Associate Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program. This is an in‑person, on‑site position with regular on‑campus presence, teaching and service are required. This full‑time, 12‑month, non‑tenure track, Assistant Professor to start on July 1, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in nursing;
- Current CRNA certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA);
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in Alabama;
- Minimum of 5 years of current practice as a CRNA;
- Highly engaged educator and clinician committed to academic excellence, innovation in nurse anesthesia education, and mentorship of future CRNAs.
- Evidence of formal instruction in curriculum, evaluation, and instruction.
