Field Engineer

G.A. West & Company is seeking experienced Land Surveyors / Field Engineers to support construction projects in multiple locations, including Alabama, Texas, and Ohio.

These positions offer the potential to develop into long-term career opportunities with G.A. West & Company. Compensation is based on experience, and per diem is available for qualified applicants.

• Must be able to operate Robotic Total Stations
• Must be able to operate Topcon GPS systems
• Must be able to operate SurvCE and Survey Pro software
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and compute required data
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
• Must have a current, valid motor vehicle license
• Must submit to all required background, medical, and reference checks, including drug testing
• Must be willing to comply with the Company’s drug-free work environment, including random drug testing
• Must be willing to abide by all Company safety policies
• Must be willing to travel
• 5+ years of experience preferred
