Senior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and design better systems for productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering
• Develop layout designs, material flow plans, and process documentation
• Use data and simulation tools to model and forecast production capacity and performance
• Support capital projects and help evaluate investments in equipment, technology, and automation
• Mentor junior engineers and help standardize best practices across teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing or operations environment
• Strong background in process improvement, production planning, and systems optimization (e.g. line balancing, capacity calculation, etc.)
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools
• Experience with simulation software and data analysis tools (AutoCAD, Minitab, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Hands‑on, analytical mindset with a drive for results

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Certifications like Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or similar
• Background in aerospace or automotive industry
