Electrical CAD Operator
Contractor: 6 months, could go longer (should be long-term)
Location:
Theodore, AL 36582
Pay: $40 hr. to $50 hr.
Requirements- 5 - 10 Years in Chemical or Petro-Chem Industries preferred.
- Experience in Bric Cad, AutoCAD, and 3D Modeling (Aveva).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Experience with document control tools (Adept, Plant Doc, or others) and assembling drawing packages.
- Experience in creating scale drawings and cutting background drawings from 3D model.
- Be able to produce high volumes of drawings, bulk editing, and batch plotting.
- Experience with managing drawings number system assigned to multiple projects.
- Experience with creating drawings for cable trays plans, underground duct bank, lighting plans, power plans, grounding plans, motor schematics/wiring diagrams, communication plans, installation details, instrument loop sheets, and PID drawings.
- Efficiently work with engineers and designers to complete drawings and packages in a timely manner.
- Position potentially requires up to 10% of travel if needed.
- Will require to be working in the office three or more times a week depending on project needs.
