Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 + 401k (4% match) + BCBS + PTO + Bonus Potential
CompanyJoin a large heavy industrial contractor with strong long term employee tenure and a self perform fabrication and construction model. The business continues to invest in modern equipment, shop improvements, and future automation, offering stable work and long term career growth in structural steel.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures
- Produce fabrication and erection drawings, BOMs, and CNC files
- Coordinate with the fabrication shop to resolve detailing and production issues
- Support project teams with constructability reviews, sequencing, and revisions
- Review junior detailing work and maintain internal detailing standards
- 10+ years Tekla detailing experience (heavy industrial preferred)
- Strong background in structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings
- Experience generating RFIs and managing drawing revisions
- Familiarity with AISC standards and industrial project environments
- AutoCAD and Power Fab experience highly desirable
