ResponsibilitiesDetermining the most effective and efficient ways to manufacture an aircraft; developing the most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, and information; developing management control systems; applying statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards; assisting in financial planning and cost analysis; designing production planning and control systems; designing methods to ensure product quality;
evaluating effects of product design changes for management review, action, and control; coordinating quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximizing product reliability, and minimizing cost.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in a role involving the aerospace industry.
- Working experience with aerospace process and methods including PFMEA, AQPQ, or Production Process Verification (PPV).
- Experience in Project Management.
- Applying production and quality rules in aviation.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and setting up new industrial facilities in aviation from a Quality and Manufacturing Engineering point of view.
- Manufacturing process design according to aviation standards.
