Transportation Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Mobile, AL.

• Assist in the design and creation of construction documents for transportation projects.
• Develop roadway design components such as typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage and hydraulic analysis, erosion control plans, safety features, and traffic control plans.
• Produce construction documents including drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Participate in marketing aspects of project procurement and gain a broad understanding of the business.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI).
• 2–8 years of related experience.
• Experience in transportation and/or civil engineering design.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

• Prior consulting engineering experience focused on transportation projects.
• Experience with Micro Station and InRoads/Open Roads.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Familiarity with AASHTO highway and traffic publications.
