Responsibilities
- Conduct blast and progressive collapse analysis per UFC 4-010-01 and UFC 4-023-03.
- Conduct site investigations for design projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate existing structures (bridges, dams, levees) to support inspection schedules for USACE facilities.
- Manage budgets/schedules, produce studies, design reports, memorandums, plans and specifications ensuring customer objectives are met.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Background investigation determining suitability or fitness.
- 25% TDY including OCONUS travel.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or equivalent coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GS‑11 level performing engineering design and review for civil works and military projects.
- Applicable form of professional registration or evidence of FE exam clearance.
- Education equivalency from foreign institution evaluated and accepted.
