Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer‑Facing On‑Site Quality Engineer to join our team and serve as the vital link between our innovative engineering and our valued OEM partners. In this role, you will be at the forefront of the aviation industry, ensuring that our aircraft reciprocating engines meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This is a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise with relationship management, directly impacting the quality and safety of aerospace technology.

What

You'll Do
  • Drive Quality Standards: Develop, initiate, and refine standards and methods for the inspection, testing, and evaluation of our aerospace products.
  • Analyze and Improve: Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data, evaluate current processes, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Perform rigorous quality engineering reviews of design documentation, vendor manuals, and company records to guarantee compliance with stringent industry requirements.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Act as the primary technical liaison, preparing reports and presenting critical program information to team members, management, and our OEM partners.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Develop innovative approaches to resolve quality issues and direct technical teams engaged in quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
  • 3-8+ years of hands‑on experience in an automotive, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a plus.
