Position Summary
Responsible for performing Functional Test Procedure (FTP), Pre & Post Flight inspection prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This includes operating, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals, drawing and engineering data to support tasks.
Complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budget and meet the guidelines of safety regulations, on quality and on cost.
Perform aircraft system Functional Test Procedure Test (FTP) / Pre /Post flight Daily Inspection (DI) check list/ prepare built aircraft for test flight readiness
Ability to learn new tasks and techniques in trouble shoot aircraft systems and support Flight line operation at Airbus FAL Mobile Flight line Organization.
Ability to perform and follow level 1 trouble shooting procedure and report / document findings precisely IAW recommended instruction. This includes performance of integrated systems testing, calibration, alignment, troubleshooting and repair of airborne electronic flight control, navigational and heading systems. Performs pretest, operational (functional) or final testing of electronic systems, components or subassemblies. Performs final tuning, alignment or calibration of electronic systems, components or subassemblies.
Troubleshoots electronic systems, components or subassemblies to determine nature of malfunction and corrective action required
Perform Post dock maintenance daily check list/ Safety and security /Incoming inspection
Perform day to day planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance family
Perform pre induction first flight configuration / incoming inspection cabin interior, cockpit, electronic bays to ensure safety and security before first flight
Set up and operates ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems.
Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assembles, using circuit testers, or volt meters.
Ability to verify and upgrade to the latest version of aircraft avionic software
Work closely with the systems engineer to interpret the flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead person with regard to schedules, priorities, availability of parts, supplies and tools, and special instructions as required

Qualified Experience and Training EducationRequired Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- 5 years relevant experience or 3 years experience with Applied Science in Avionics, A&P, or FCC license.
- 5 years minimum aviation experience, preferably in an aviation manufacturing or MRO environment
Required
- Ability to obtain a Repairmen Certificate
- Valid Driver License
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport which allows unrestricted travel
Licensure/Certification s
- Valid A&P or FCC License
- EASA/TCCA Regulations
- 5% Domestic and International
- Authorized to Work in the US

- Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally able to squat/kneel
- Standing: able to stand for long periods of time
- Travel: able to travel domestically and/or internationally for training purposes and offsite aircraft recovery
- Walking: able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces
- Climate: able to work in various weather conditions
