Chemicals Account Manager

As a Chemicals Account Manager (Lead Operations Specialist), you will manage chemical programs at offshore facilities, ensuring operational excellence, technical reliability, and strong customer engagement. You will play a key role in optimizing chemical treatments, maintaining equipment, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
Responsibilities- Managing and overseeing production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to customers
- Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations, process engineering, and commercial queries
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing chemical treatment programs to support production efficiency
- Managing chemical program operations, including inventory tracking, order management, rate adjustments, and reporting
- Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of chemical injection pumps as required
- Preparing and delivering technical reviews and proposing new chemical solutions to customers
- Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to adapt to evolving customer needs
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying value creation opportunities
- Communicating insights and opportunities to Baker Hughes leadership and internal teams
- Have a high school diploma
- Have at least 5 years of experience in Upstream Production Chemicals Application & Operations
- Demonstrate knowledge of process optimization and production chemistry
- Have onshore and/or offshore operations experience
- Be a self-starter with the ability to proactively identify problems and provide solutions
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Have experience managing both client relationships and internal teams
- Standard office-based working hours (Monday to Friday) supporting work-life balance
