Job Description

This is entry level maintenance and repair work requiring the completion of increasingly more skilled tasks in the operation of a water or wastewater treatment plant and related facilities on an assigned shift while training to perform at the level of Treatment Plant Operator I.

Applicants must pass an examination in order to qualify for this position. To prepare for the required Treatment Plant Operator Trainee computer-based test, applicants should download, save and/or print the Treatment Plant Operator Trainee Study Guide now. Requirements

Minimum Qualification Requirements Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test.
